Katy Perry Shares Delivery Room Video of Day After She ‘Gave Birth to Daisy Dove Bloom’

Katy Perry is looking back on a very special day!

On Thursday, Aug. 29 the singer, 39, shared a video on her Instagram Stories of herself sitting in a hospital bed after giving birth to her daughter Daisy Dove, 4, in August 2020.

Looking tired but content, Perry is asked “What day is it?,” in the clip. She then takes a bite of her food and says, “It’s the day after I gave birth to Daisy Dove Bloom and it’s the day my 5th record comes out.”

Ahead of posting the throwback clip, Perry, marked the anniversary of the album release on her Instagram Stories.

“Happy 4th birthday to my album smile,” she wrote earlier on Thursday, Aug. 29 in capital letters.

Sharing a snap of the cover art for the album, she added, “Where were you when this album came out, I’ll show you where I was.”

The “Teenage Dream” artist then shared the throwback clip of herself in the delivery room after giving birth to Daisy the previous day.

Earlier this month, Perry also shared a TikTok video of Daisy helping her sign autographs.

“The smallest member of team KP insisted on lending a hand (and a sharpie) 🌼✍🏼 maybe you’ll get a DD 143 exclusive, lucky you 🥹,” the mother of one’s caption read, referencing her upcoming seventh studio album, 143.

With the mother-daughter duo’s faces hidden from the camera, only their arms were visible as they signed promo photos for Perry’s 143 era.
