WWE star Baron Corbin is reflecting on meeting Taylor Swift!
In a new interview published on Aug. 29, the professional wrestler, 39, praised Swift, 34, for being “so humble” as he spoke about meeting the singer for the first time at a Kansas City Chiefs game last season. Swift had attended in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
When asked by TV Insider what he recalled from the meeting and the response after he posted a snap with Swift on social media, he said: “It’s wild. The magnitude that she brings to everything and anything. It was awesome.”

Corbin continued, “But the biggest takeaway for me is when you are around her, she doesn’t act like a star. She acts like a normal amazing person. She is very sweet.”
The WWE star and former football player’s meeting with the Grammy winner was captured in a photo he posted of the pair together at a Chiefs game on X (formerly Twitter) on Dec. 10 2023, which subsequently went viral. Swift and Kelce had been publicly dating for around three months at the time.
“Come back crew let’s go! #ChiefsKingdom,” he captioned the post at the time.
Corbin continued to rave about his meeting with Swift in his TV Insider interview, saying, “As soon as I was introduced to her, she gives you a big hug. Then you’re like, ‘This is crazy. She is the biggest star on the planet right now.’ ”
“To see someone so humble and how they carry themselves in that way, it’s nice to see. It really teaches you that when people have an ego they shouldn’t. You look at how the biggest star in the world acts. You should be the same.”

Comparing Swifties to WWE fans, Corbin joked that “they are similar.”
“They are both diehards. If someone comes at Taylor, her whole army takes them down. The same happens when someone comes after a WWE superstar,” he added.
Corbin’s account of meeting the singer at the game comes as Swift attended a number of Chiefs games last season in support of her boyfriend Kelce.
The Chiefs player also appeared at the singer’s Eras Tour concerts in various stops around the world, including London and Sydney — even making a cameo onstage during her concert at Wembley arena in London.
