Love Is Blind‘s Stacy Snyder Comes Out as Queer: ‘Surprise’
Snyder starred in season 5 of the Netflix dating series
Stacy Snyder is giving a major life update.
The Love Is Blind alum, 35, revealed that she is queer in an Instagram video posted Wednesday, Aug. 28.
In the clip, she’s seen sitting at a table as words of speculation pop up around her from “she’s single again” to “she’s got a boyfriend” and “she’s irrelevant.”
The video blurs for a split second before Stacy shares her truth and the words “SHE’S HAPPY” appear on the video in all caps.
At the same time, a mysterious woman comes up and kisses Stacy, who is beaming from ear to ear.
Stacy added the caption “Surprise! #🌈.”
Though she didn’t disclose her new partner’s identity, her fellow Love Is Blind stars cheered Stacy on in the post’s comment section.
Chelsea Blackwell wrote, “You go girl!!!!!❤️,” and Laura Dadisman added, “Happy looks good on you babe 🩷.”
Zanab Jaffrey also wanted details, writing, “Girlllllll we need a catchup! Happy to see you happy ❤️ #lovelove.” And Nancy Rodriguez chimed in with, “🤍🤍 nothing but the best for my gal!”
Stacy starred in season 5 of Love Is Blind and became engaged to Izzy Zapata in the pods. Though the two made it to the altar in the finale and Izzy said “yes” to officially marrying Stacy, she turned him down, citing lack of time as their biggest issue.

As for why he had a change of heart so quickly, Izzy told PEOPLE everything began to sink in as he was being questioned by producers.
“I’m sitting there and I’m getting my questions asked to me, I’m like, ‘Damn. F— this. This is s—ty.’ I was so hurt that I finally just let my emotions sit in,” he said in October 2023.

I don’t believe the things that he said. I don’t think he believes the things that he said. And I think he was genuinely just hurt.”
