Bride left heartbroken entering empty venue after guests failed to show up to wedding

This woman was astonished on her wedding day when hardly no one showed up to the ceremony after 100 invitations were sent out.

The heartbreaking footage of a bride walking into an empty venue has gone viral online after guests failed to show up for the wedding.

Kalina Marie took to TikTok to explain that she had digitally invited 75 guests and mailed physical invitations to an additional 25 for her masquerade-themed wedding.

Unfortunately, they did not show up, as the couple had to leave with their son since three other individuals were observed celebrating with them at the location.

The social media user revealed that they had been together for nine years, engaged for four, and that the epidemic has caused a delay in their wedding plans.

However, the turnout was not as planned, and Kalina shared the popular video with a lengthy description.

At the time of writing, the video had over six and a half million views, with the caption reading: “This is our entry to our masquerade [sic] ball. The Masqurade Ball, which I have talked a lot about for the past ten months.

“The same ball that I not only digitally invited over 75 people to. But ALSO spent money to send 25 beautiful invitations out to,” she began.

“FIVE PEOPLE SHOWED UP!!!!!!! Like, are you kidding me!?!? As you see in the video, we enter the venue. And no one is there,” Kalina revealed.

She said she ‘dreamed’ of arriving into a big room of people in celebration, but instead she was ‘a woman trying to hold herself together’ because she didn’t know how to deal with the venue being almost empty.

Annoyed about the ‘wasted food and drinks’ along with ’empty tables and chairs’, the group partied on, as she wrote: “Did we still make the most of it?? You bet your SWEET a** we did.

“But did this video just take all the good moments and shoot them out of the water for a second, f**k yeah it did,” she also admitted.

In conclusion, the content creator said: “But I just know that I have my man.”

My darling. and relatives who come through for me when I need them. And I shall be grateful for that.

Days after the initial incident, Kalina addressed queries from the public and provided clarifications in an explanation video.

They decided on an October wedding date in January of this year, she added, and she has been “blabbing” about it all on Facebook since creating a Facebook event. She also mentioned that 25 invites were sent to those who are elderly or don’t use social media.
