(WATCH): Joe Rogan Slams “The View”! No Way He Said This…

Famous podcaster Joe Rogan recently spoke off on “The View,” labeling the panel of mostly lefty co-hosts a “rabies-infested henhouse” after an interview with novelist Coleman Hughes.

During the show, Hughes was mocked for his views on contemporary race relations, with co-host Sunny Hosting calling him a “charlatan” and a “pawn” for his beliefs.

Hughes published a book earlier this year titled “The End of Race Politics: Arguments for a Colorblind America,” which makes it clear that he disagrees with current ideologies such as Critical Race Theory and other left-wing political obsessions that group people based on immutable characteristics.

To address inequities in American culture, Hughes believes that people should be treated “without regard for race,” but rather based on their socioeconomic condition. However, Hostin disagreed with the author’s argument, noting that his work is “fundamentally flawed,” and that his desire for colorblind treatment of Americans has been “co-opted” by the right.

“Many in the black community, if I’m being honest with you, because I want to be, believe that you are being used as a pawn by the right and that you’re charlatan of sorts,” Hostin told Hughes during the interview. Hughes calmly argued with the claim, denying that Hostin implied he was a “pawn” for conservatives.

“I don’t think there’s any evidence I’ve been co-opted by anyone and I think that’s an ad-hominem tactic people use to not address, really, the important conversations we’re having here,” Hughes rebutted.

“Well, it is the show that people love to hate,” the 56-year-old podcaster stated when Hughes informed him how much attention he’s had from individuals who support him since the piece aired.

Hughes went down for an interview with Joe Rogan after his appearance on “The View,” and the issue was discussed.

Rogan did not mince words in expressing his dislike for “The View,” claiming that the show’s co-hosts say “ridiculous things.” Hughes told Rogan that he “didn’t know who Sunny Hostin was before going on The View,” and that he had “no idea what to expect.” He also mentioned that he didn’t expect the panel to “ambush” him.

“I wasn’t expecting necessarily for her to kind of try to ambush me in that way and attack my character in that way and I responded to it in the moment as I do, and I didn’t expect it to go as viral as it did, but I think it arguably went more viral than anything I’ve ever done,” Hughes said on “The Joe Rogan Experience.” He further claimed that Hostin approached the conversation with an “agenda.”

“Well, their audience is not really their audience,” Rogan said, weighing in on the daytime talk show. “Their audience is a group of people they bring in to watch television shows.” At one point during the discussion about “The View,” Rogan said, “They get so much hate-watching and hate-watching viral clips of them saying ridiculous things, I mean it is a rabies infested henhouse.”
