Geraldo Announces…

So, now that Geraldo has left Fox News, he will appear as a guest on ABC’s “The View”. He announced it on Twitter, saying, “Delighted to do TheView Thursday.” “I wonder what they’ll ask me about.”

Though the remark was satirical, and they will undoubtedly question him about his time at Fox News and why he left, attempting to persuade him to cri:ticize the network. There are a number of other questions they could ask him to enthral its progressive audience.

Continuing, he added that because that lack of diversity was “sh0cking,” he was chosen to be one of the diverse candidates. He shared: “And it was sh0cking. And that was as late as 1968, 69. So I was selected. I was making news representing a group of Puerto Rican activists, the Young Lords, who had taken over some buildings up in the Spanish Harlem. And I was their lawyer and their negotiator. And I made a lot of news as their spokesperson. And so I got discovered that way, and they drafted me through the Columbia program, and the rest is history.”

Beyond the affirmative action problem and his departure from Fox News, “The View” might question him about his dispute with one of the network’s few remaining anchors, Greg Gutfeld, who draws a sizable audience.

Though Geraldo has previously declined to comment on his disagreements with Geraldo, he did tell the Associated Press, “There has been a growing tension that goes beyond editorial differences and personal annoyances and gripes.” It’s not worth it for me.”
