Louis Van Amstel’s history with Dancing with the Stars goes back to the very beginning when he competed on season one with partner Trista Sutter. Over the years, he has competed on numerous seasons; his last appearance was in season 31 with partner Cheryl Ladd.

Outside of the ballroom, Van Amstel founded the dance fitness program LaBlast that offers a variety of classes online as well as masterclasses led by the pro dancer himself.

Van Amstel married Joshua Lancaster in 2017. In 2019, the pair welcomed their first son, Daniel, through adoption, and in 2020 became a family of four with the adoption of their son Jonny.

Per his LinkedIn, Mazo got his MBA from Stanford Business School in 2012 and is now a General Partner at DGA Capital.

Cheryl Burke started off her time on DWTS with a bang, taking home the Mirrorball trophy with partner Drew Lachey in season 2. She kept up the momentum and won again the following season alongside Emmitt Smith. Burke has appeared on more than 20 seasons since, with her most recent appearance in season 31. In 2022, she announced her official departure from the franchise after 26 seasons — a decision she called “very emotional.”

Peta Murgatroyd

Peta Murgatroyd’s time on DWTS dates back to season 12 when she started as a troupe dancer. She was quickly promoted to a pro dancer the following season and in season 14 she won it all alongside partner Donald Driver. She’s won the Mirrorball one more time since and most recently danced on season 32.

In addition to her two Mirrorball trophies, Murgatroyd took home another win from the show: She met her future husband, fellow dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The pair got engaged in 2015 and wed in 2017, and have since had three sons, Shai, Rio and Milan.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Maksim Chmerkovskiy first joined the Dancing with the Stars family back in 2006 during season 2. He was a mainstay for years to come, appearing on nearly 20 seasons before giving his last performance during season 25. Over the course of his time on the show, he found himself in the middle of some drama off the dance floor.

Though he was engaged for some time to fellow DWTS pro Karina Smirnoff before tension caused them to call the wedding off, he later fell for dancer Peta Muragtroyd and their relationship has lasted. In 2015, the pair was engaged and welcomed their first child together in 2017. The two got married in 2017 and are now the parents of three!

Earlier this year, he appeared as a judge alongside fellow DWTS alum Allison Holker Boss as a judge on season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance. He also appeared on season two of The Traitors, though spoiler alert, he was banished in episode 3.

Dancing runs in the family for the Chmerkovskiys: Maksim’s little brother, Val is also a longtime pro on the show. Though he first appeared on the show in season 2, it wasn’t until season 13 that Val joined as an official pro. He has appeared on nearly every season since, taking home the Mirrorball three times including season 32 alongside Xochitl Gomez. In season 33, he is set to dance with The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Phaedra Parks

Like his big brother, Val also met his future wife on the show and in 2018 he and Jenna Johnson were engaged. The pair wed in 2019 and welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Rome, in 2023.

In 2023, Dovolani returned to DWTS to pay tribute to former judge head judge Len Goodman following his death. The following year it was announced that Dovolani would be appearing alongside Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming screen adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman.

Dovolani shares three kids, Luana, Adrian and Ariana, with his wife Lina.

Now, Trebunskaya owns You Can Dance Studio in Hermosa Beach, California with her mother, Irina and is the proud mom to her two kids whom she shares with Nevin Millan.

In December 2023, the couple announced their engagement.

“It’s funny, I remember us meeting. I remember us as teammates. I remember us as best friends, and then I remember us together. And now it feels like we’ve just been together for forever,” Stewart told PEOPLE at the time.

Rylee competed with reality star Harry Jowsey and danced their way to the quarterfinals before ultimately getting eliminated. The two hit the road in early 2024 for the annual DWTS tour. Though the pair sparked dating rumors over the course of the season and beyond, neither has confirmed there was anything more than a friendship between them.
