Pregnant Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Shows Off Growing Baby Bump in Cropped Top and Shorts

Blanchard announced in July that she and boyfriend Ken Urker are expecting their first child

 

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is sharing more of her pregnancy journey!

On Friday, Aug. 30, the pregnant Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup subject posted both a photo and video showing off her growing baby bump — more than a month after announcing her pregnancy with boyfriend Ken Urker in July.

Blanchard, 33, first uploaded a mirror selfie on Instagram which showed her wearing a cropped Nike top and a pair of athletic shorts, with a glimpse of her pregnant belly visible in the photo.

In a follow-up clip, also shared to her TikTok, Blanchard struck a few additional poses and gave followers another look at her baby bump, as she smiled for the camera and put her hand on her hip.

She soundtracked the short video with a remix of a phrase made popular by TikTok star Jools Lebron, smiling for the camera to the sayings “very considerate,” “very approachable” and “very demure.”

 

The Munchausen by proxy victim — who previously served eight years of a 10-year sentence for her role in the murder of her mother — announced in a July 9 YouTube video that she’s expecting her first baby with boyfriend Ken Urker, 31.

In the clip, titled “I’m Pregnant, My Journey So Far,” Blanchard addressed “rumors” that had been “flying around for quite some time now,” as she confirmed that she was then 11 weeks pregnant and expecting her “very first child come January of 2025.”

“This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood,” she said.

Blanchard also addressed concerns from those who felt she was “not ready to be a mother,” adding that she doesn’t know “if anyone’s really ready to be a mother.”

“All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby,” she said, later adding, “I am a mother now, I am happy, and I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn’t.”

On Aug. 10, the pair revealed that they’re expecting a baby girl. At the time, Blanchard posted a clip to Instagram featuring a photo of her and Urker standing by balloons, which they seemingly popped open to reveal pink confetti. “Sweetie, I’m your mom,” Blanchard said in the video, before Urker added, “I’m your dad.”

“You are a girl,” the soon-to-be parents then said in unison.

As the duo look forward to their first-born, Blanchard is also preparing for some wardrobe changes to coincide with her growing baby bump.

On Aug. 15, she told followers in a clip that “the days of me wearing cute little crop tops are just about over for right now.” As she explained at the time, she’ll “get back into it next summer or next winter.”

More recently, Blanchard revealed in a YouTube video posted on Friday, Aug. 30 (with highlights posted on TikTok), that she was cooking Urker dinner for the first time. The video showed her making spaghetti and meatballs from a recipe she followed from a book.
