Teddy Swims and Raiche Wright made their relationship official with a couple’s tattoo in June 2024
Teddy Swims and Raiche Wright love making music together.
Before announcing their relationship, the couple attended a Grammys party together in February 2024. By May, Wright began joining Swims on his tour, performing duets with her boyfriend onstage and sharing loved-up photos and videos together on social media.
Like Swims, Wright is also a singer and has shared how a mutual love for music nourishes their relationship. During a 2024 episode of Joely Live’s Pucker Up show, Wright opened up on her favorite things to do with Swims saying, “He’s a good partner. He’s fun, he’s got a good attitude all the time and everything we do together is fun.”
“We write together. We make music together,” she added. “I love going out to eat together, like I love doing everything [with him].”
Meanwhile, Swims sang her praises, confirming their relationship in a July 2024 episode of The Kyle & Jackie O Show and reiterating how having the same career has helped their relationship.
“I met this girl named Raiche, she’s a singer,” Swims began. “She’s gonna come to tour with me and she’s just amazing.”
“She does what I do, which is great,” he added. “Because it’s like maybe 3 a.m. and I’m calling her and she’s like ‘Yeah, yeah I’m in a session. I’m recording vocals.’ And I’m like, ‘Girl, yeah, handle your business, baby.’ ”
So who is Teddy Swims’ girlfriend? Here’s everything to know about Raiche Wright and her relationship with the singer.
She grew up in Pittsfield, Mass.
Wright was born and raised in Pittsfield, Mass., and now resides in Atlanta.
In a 2024 interview with Berkshire Magazine, the artist reflected on what it was like growing up in Pittsfield sharing, “There were a lot of cultural elements that influenced me as a Black and white woman growing up in the Berkshires and seeing both sides.”
“I went to Lenox Memorial High, but I lived in Pittsfield,” she explained. “I was able to travel to Europe as part of an art class there, and I’m grateful that I had such a great experience with my schooling.”
Wright also recalled her love and fondness for Pittsfield to the magazine saying, “I love visiting my family in Pittsfield, going to Guido’s, and eating at Haven.”
“When I was in high school, I would leave on my little breaks to go over there and get lunch with my friends,” she continued. “One of my sisters lives in Becket, so I like going up there and hanging by the creek and playing with my nieces and nephews. I also love going to Olivia’s Overlook in Lenox. It’s gorgeous,” she added.

She’s a singer and found a love for music as a child
Like Swims, Wright is also a singer and songwriter.
She released her debut EP DRIVE in 2019 and followed it up with a 2023 album called Loveland. Wright first started posting covers of songs on social media and recalls that she found a love for music early in life.
While speaking to Berkshire Magazine, Wright reflected on how she found music: “I wrote my first song when I was 8 or 9. I’m pretty sure I still have it in a little box with other family memories back home,” she said.
“When Instagram came out, I started doing short clips of covers I sang or verses and hooks that I wrote,” she added on her come-up to music. “I was working for my mom at Essencials Day Spa in Pittsfield as a receptionist at the time. I listened to coffeehouse-type music when I worked there like Adele and Norah Jones, which influenced the covers I did.”
Her mom inspired her growing up
Wright credits her mom as a huge gateway into her love for music.
A worship leader, Wright’s mother used to bring her young daughter with her to practices at church where the singer recalled, “A lot of times I would just grab a mic and practice with [my mom],” per her website’s bio page.
She also found her love for singing through school plays and even American Idol, telling Berkshire Magazine, “Singing at Reigning Love Church in Pittsfield with my mom and being in school plays was also a catalyst for me to find out that I could sing. I got a lot of positive feedback from that.”
“My family and I used to watch American Idol religiously,” she added. “I remember always listening to the advice they gave the contestants and taking it to heart. Simon Cowell said something like, ‘If you want to make it in this industry, you can’t sound like anybody else.’ That was when I realized I needed to make my own sound.”
