The mother of three daughters and WNBA phenom are among the 8.4 million-plus people who supported the pop star’s Instagram announcement
Caitlin Clark and Kylie Kelce are on board with Taylor Swift’s support for presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
The WNBA phenom, 22, and the mother of three daughters, 32 — plus fellow athlete, former WNBA star Sue Bird — are among the nearly 8.5 million people who have liked the pop star’s endorsement of the presidential nominee on Instagram.
Swift, 34, made the announcement on Tuesday night, moments after Harris wrapped her first debate with her opponent, former president Donald Trump.
“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight,” Swift began in an Instagram post, alongside a photo of herself holding a cat. “If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.”
Kylie and her husband, former NFL star Jason Kelce, have shown their support for Swift in other ways, most recently over the summer when the couple attended the artist’s Eras Tour show at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Kylie, a former college athlete like Clark, is also a staunch advocate for women in sports, holding field hockey camps for girls, and has said in the past that she appreciates Swift for helping to bring a new demo to football.

“To see that other young girls are getting involved and that they want to sit down and cheer with their dads or they’re finding their own reason to be interested, it’s only something that can be painted in a positive and exciting light. It’s just another way to encourage girls to appreciate sport,” Kylie told Glamour earlier this year.
She added, “I hope they draw the connection between sports and feeling good about themselves. That sports are an enjoyable and positive experience, and having those positive feelings then translates to making sure they continue with it.”

While Clark herself has been responsible for bringing a new fan base to women’s basketball, until now, she has been less vocal about her political leanings.
The Indiana Fever rookie has been known to endorse Swift’s music, however.
In a TikTok from her college days at Iowa, Clark enthusiastically shared that her favorite Swift song is “Enchanted.”
